Mr. Krauss is an expert in all aspects of medical product manufacturing and packaging. He is also currently partnering with a US-based International medical-device company to engineer and build a proprietary manufacturing plant. He is the founder of a US-based ISO-compliant medical-device manufacturing and pharmaceutical-packaging company with R&D and prototyping facilities and is a principal of a medical- device engineering company. He has manufactured for major multi-national pharmaceutical and medical- device distributors working with partners such as the CDC (Center for Disease Control), NIH (National Institute of Health), the “Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation”, and the US Armed Services. For nearly a decade, Mr. Krauss was Head of R&D and Production for Klocke America. Having held various senior technical positions in medical device and pharmaceutical packaging companies, Mr. Krauss has garnered a unique and intimate knowledge of all aspects of technology, regulatory issues (FDA, GMP, Dekra, etc.), for starting (equipment procurement, personnel training, site preparation, etc.) and running (production, quality assurance, ISO certification, FDA certification, staffing, etc.) pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Mr. Krauss holds 7 International and US patents. He received an Engineering Degree from FHTE in Germany. He is fluent in English and German.
